Waves of Courage stands with people facing the hardest days of their lives — a child in treatment, an adult after an accident, a family holding on, a neighborhood that needs something built. We show up with practical help and with moments worth remembering.

Who we’re here for
Everyone the wave reaches
We began by helping children, and we always will. But hardship doesn’t stop at eighteen — so neither do we.
Families
When illness or injury arrives, the bills don’t wait and the house may not fit any more. We help with medical costs, ramps and home modifications, travel, and the expenses no one plans for.
Individuals
Adults face these fights too, often with far less support around them. We stand with people one at a time, whatever their age, and we listen before we decide what help looks like.
Community
Some needs are bigger than one household. We take on larger community projects and partner with local organizations to build things that outlast any single grant.
Our signature event
Ride the Brainwave
A 5K, a motorcycle rally and a Jeep Show and Shine, all in one weekend. It started with a handful of people trying to help one family. It has grown into thousands of riders, runners and volunteers who show up every year for neighbors they may never meet.
Ride the Brainwave continues under Waves of Courage — same event, same community, same reason. Every dollar goes back to local families and individuals in the middle of a medical crisis.
